Job Summary
Lead and supervise ramp agents in the safe loading, unloading, and movement of aircraft to ensure efficient and safe turnaround. Coordinate ground support equipment and resources while performing safety checks to ensure team compliance with aviation regulations. Communicate with flight crews and ground teams to resolve issues and minimize delays, while training agents on safety standards and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001
- 2+ years of experience in ground handling
- At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong leadership skills
- Communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage teams in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with ramp operations
- Familiarity with safety protocols
- Familiarity with ground support equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certifications in ground handling
