Job Summary
Assist crew members on the ground during tree trimming or removal near utility power lines while acting as a crew spotter, work planner, or crew flagger. Ride in company vehicles to and from work sites, setting up work zone traffic control and retrieving tools for climbers or bucket operators. Perform yard cleanup by raking and operating leaf blowers, fueling and oiling power tools, and gathering, dragging brush, and tree limbs. Use chainsaws or handsaws to cut and prepare materials for wood chipping, and operate dangerous machinery such as wood chippers while lifting and stacking logs. This role involves regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, crouching, kneeling, walking on sloping uneven ground, and pulling approximately 66% of the time under direct supervision of a certified crew leader or qualified employee.

- Lifting/Carrying: Regularly. One (1) to Fifty (50) Pounds.

- Walking: Regularly. Work is often performed on sloping, uneven ground.
- Pushing: Occasionally. Approximately 33% of time.
