Job Summary
Ground Market Cook responsible for bringing wood-fired pizzas and menu items to life with consistency, quality, and care. Prepare and cook wood-fired pizzas, manage dough handling, topping, and oven execution, maintain a clean and stocked station, support daily service, and follow food safety standards. Communicate clearly with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, with occasional front-of-house guest interaction. Develop knowledge of Ground Market’s proteins, produce, and sourcing practices to support execution and guest engagement.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4+ years kitchen experience preferred
- Experience with wood-fired ovens or willingness to learn
- Strong knife skills and basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality
- Ability to adapt to changing service demands
- State Food Handler’s License(s)
