Job Summary
Ground Maintenance crew role requiring local candidates in NC, SC, or VA. Responsibilities include cutting grass, spraying weeds, debris and tree limb removal, operating and maintaining lawn care equipment, and transporting gear using a company-provided truck and trailer. The job requires physical labor (lift 50+ pounds), outdoor work across spring to winter, weekend shifts, and travel up to 100% when necessary. Qualifications include a clean driving record, ability to pass a drug test, experience with lawn tools, basic mechanical skills, and a valid driver’s license. Company benefits after 90 days include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time, and company-paid hotels/per diem for out-of-town work. The role is full-time with biweekly pay and may involve extensive travel and on-site work at construction/outdoor settings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Must be able to drive a truck and trailer (competency proven)
- Experience with lawn care equipment/tools
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Self-motivated with ability to meet weekly job-site targets
- Ability to work outdoors year-round
- Basic mechanical skills
- Valid driver's license
- Able to travel up to 100%
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Weekend availability
