Job Summary
Ground Handling & PRM Contracts Manager at International Airport of Heraklion, Crete S.A. oversees implementation of LGHR across airport operations, contract management with ground handling and PRM providers, KPI/SLA monitoring, and coordination with airlines and airport departments. Responsibilities include regulatory alignment, operational follow-up, stakeholder consultations, ORAT planning, cost monitoring, and ensuring compliance with European and national aviation regulations (EASA, IATA, JIG). Requires extensive airport operations experience, strong stakeholder management, English proficiency, and ability to coordinate multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred candidates have additional qualifications in ORAT, SMS, emergency planning, aviation compliance, and related fields.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in airport operations, ground handling operations, PRM services, airline operations, or related aviation operational environments
- Strong understanding of airport operational processes and PRM requirements
- Experience in operational contract management, KPI/SLA monitoring, inspections, and service performance follow-up
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and operational reporting tools
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
- Additional professional certifications or industry qualifications related to airport operations, ground handling, PRM services, operational resilience, ORAT, SMS, emergency planning, aviation compliance, customer service excellence, quality management, or stakeholder management will be considered an advantage
