Job Summary
Ground Handler at Saskatoon Airport (YXE) responsible for supporting airline ground service operations. Responsibilities include driving/operating ground service equipment, marshalling aircraft to gates, loading/unloading guest baggage per the load plan, delivering baggage to claim areas, servicing aircraft water and lavatories, inspecting ramp areas for debris and removing it, grooming aircraft interiors and restocking supplies. Requires flexibility to work shifts including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays; physical ability to perform tasks; outdoor work in all weather; adherence to Transport Canada procedures; safety gear usage; and ability to obtain a TC security pass. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push/pull for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift up to 70lbs/32kgs
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather
- Steel toe boots (green patch), reflective vest, and hearing protection
- Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada
- Criminal background check
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract
