Ground Freight Execution Specialist

Job Summary
Ground Freight Execution Specialist responsible for owning the end-to-end intermodal shipment lifecycle (FTL/LTL) and delivering best-in-class customer service. You will build relationships with customers, carriers, and internal teams, proactively identify and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions, support dispatch activities, coordinate transportation schedules, monitor KPIs, identify root causes of service failures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role is based primarily in Mississauga with travel to the Caledon site, and requires strong knowledge of transportation operations, cross-border Canada–U.S. shipments, and proficiency in Excel. Bilingual English/French is a strong asset.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations (imports/exports and domestic freight preferred)
- Knowledge of cross-border operations between Canada and the U.S. is an asset
- Exposure to dispatching or transportation coordination is highly desirable
- Strong customer-centric mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset
