Job Summary
Ground Data Networks (GDN) and Cyber & Network Defense (CND) Architect to support DoD customers within the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC); lead analytic efforts, develop high-level requirements for future GDN/CND architectures, guide technical approaches and mission architectures for space and ground operations, manage interdisciplinary teams, and coordinate with SSC, SDA, MDA, USSC and other Combatant Commands to deliver resilient, next-generation space-ground network and cyber defense capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related technical field
- 8 or more years of progressively increasing responsibility and technical experience in two or more of: enterprise-scale network operations, cyber security, systems engineering and development, formal analysis/optimization of large scale enterprise network performance and protection
- Three or more years experience in space sensing systems development, network/cyber systems acquisition, operations analysis, program management, cloud provisioning/deployment, SOC management
- Familiarity with space-based communications systems and supporting ground infrastructure
- Understanding of defense-in-depth principles, cyber defense frameworks, and systems security best-practices in both government and commercial networks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willing to travel occasionally approx. 20%
- Active Top Secret security clearance, with eligibility for SCI and SAP/SAR clearances, US citizenship and willingness to take polygraph
- US government polygraph test
