Job Summary
Process specimens accurately using established procedures and provide pathology staff with specimen details including size, color, weight, dimensions, count, labeling, and techniques. Enter data accurately and prioritize changing demands while maintaining focus within tight timeframes. Adhere strictly to department protocols, notify supervisors of situations beyond individual training, and assist in other lab areas as directed. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science
- Prolonged sitting
- Repetitive hand, wrist and shoulder motion
- Lifting up to 25 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands
