Job Summary
Lead and manage grooming salon operations and grooming salon team members. Deliver expert grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning while prioritizing safety and pet welfare. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, coach and develop both entry-level and seasoned groomers, and drive salon performance through effective scheduling, staffing, and adherence to breed standards. Collaborate with store management to achieve sales targets and salon objectives, monitor metrics, and maintain high standards of customer service and grooming quality. Requires 2+ years of professional grooming experience and 1-2 years of salon-management experience or related field; strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work full-time, including weekends/evenings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years' experience as a professional groomer and/or completion of a technical grooming training program
- Strong leadership skills, with the desire to lead, train, and develop people, with 1-2 years previous experience of salon management, or related field, preferred
- High-school diploma or GED preferred, though not required
