Job Summary
Grooming Salon Leader at Petco responsible for leading salon operations and grooming-team members while delivering expert grooming services to pets. Manages scheduling, coaching, performance evaluations, inventory, and customer experience; ensures safety, quality, and adherence to breed standards. Drives salon performance toward sales targets and growth, mentors both entry-level and professional groomers, performs professional grooming services, and maintains a clean, compliant grooming area. Emphasizes leadership, teamwork, client communication, and pet care excellence to ensure pets look and feel their best.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience as a professional groomer and/or completion of a technical grooming training program
- strong leadership skills
- 1-2 years previous experience of salon management, or related field, preferred
- High-school diploma or GED preferred, though not required
