Job Summary
Pet Groomer at Petco responsible for providing expert-level professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning. Ensure pet safety, comfort, and well-being while delivering high levels of customer service to pet parents. Operate and maintain grooming instruments, maintain a clean and sanitized salon, educate pet parents on grooming maintenance and at-home care, and may assist in training or supervising entry-level trainees as needed. Role emphasizes growth opportunities within grooming leadership tracks and adherence to Petco policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco or equivalent professional grooming experience/training
- High-school diploma or GED preferred, though not required
