Groomer

Petco Grooming position focused on delivering expert-level professional grooming services for pets, including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning. The Pet Stylist must prioritize animal safety and well-being while delivering high-quality customer service, educate pet parents on grooming maintenance and at-home care, maintain a clean and sanitary salon environment, and follow Petco policies and standards. The role requires operating grooming instruments (clippers, blades, shears, brushes, dryers), supervising or assisting trainees when needed, and being able to work under modest supervision with the Grooming Salon Leader or Store Manager. Education/Experience includes successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco or prior professional grooming experience and/or completion of a technical grooming training program. Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, breed knowledge, and the ability to handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments are essential.
