Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and condition pets while styling them per owner instructions or breed standards, ensuring the wellness and safety of every furry patron. Deliver exceptional neighborly service by engaging with customers, recommending products for pet health, and performing routine cleaning to maintain a fun environment. Assist store team members during downtime and participate in community outreach to attract new neighbors. Complete safety training certification and continue developing grooming techniques. This commission-based role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for experienced hires, with opportunities for career growth through our Paragon training program.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1-year or more of grooming experience
- formal training certification
- experience under an established certified groomer
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to provide your own equipment (clippers/blades/scissors/etc.)
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- pass the drug screening (in applicable states)
- be 18 years or older
- Safety Training certification
