Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and condition pets while styling them per owner instructions or breed standards, ensuring the wellness and safety of all furry patrons. Develop long-term relationships with pet parents by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that keep their pets healthy and happy. Perform routine cleaning to maintain a fun and inviting grooming environment, assist store team members during downtime, and complete safety training certification. Engage with neighbors through community outreach to attract new customers. This role offers a sign-on bonus and commission-based pay with a guaranteed minimum, including PTO and comprehensive health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1-year or more of grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to provide your own equipment (clippers/blades/scissors/etc.)
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Candidates must pass the drug screening (in applicable states)
- Candidates must be 18 years or older
