Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and condition pets while styling them per owner instructions or breed standards, ensuring the wellness and safety of all furry patrons. Deliver grooming services that delight neighbors, including brushing, bathing, and conditioning, while developing long-term relationships by recommending products for pet health. Perform routine cleaning to maintain the environment, assist store team members during downtime, and complete required safety training. Lift or move pets and equipment up to 50 pounds, with flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1-year or more of grooming experience
- Formal training certification
- Experience under an established certified groomer
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to provide your own equipment (clippers/blades/scissors/etc.)
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Pass the drug screening (in applicable states)
- Be 18 years or older
- Safety Training certification
