Job Summary
Mobile Pet Groomer position in Lexington operating from a state-of-the-art mobile grooming van. Responsibilities include providing professional grooming services (bathing, brushing, trimming, styling) according to breed standards; ensuring pet safety and comfort; assessing coat and skin health; educating pet owners on home care; maintaining van cleanliness and equipment; managing schedules and appointments to maximize productivity; delivering excellent customer service; and driving the mobile unit to scheduled appointments. Requires grooming license, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and the ability to work in a flexible, commission-based environment. State-of-the-art Mercedes Sprinter van provided; opportunities for ongoing training and development; equal-opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Grooming license for any areas we service (required)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Proven experience as a professional pet groomer
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification from a reputable grooming school or similar grooming qualification is highly desirable
