Job Summary
Mobile Pet Groomer at Furry Land Louisville operates a state-of-the-art mobile grooming van to provide professional grooming services (bathing, brushing, trimming, styling) for dogs and cats in the Louisville area. Responsibilities include driving the 2023 Mercedes Sprinter van to appointments, maintaining van cleanliness and sanitation, assessing coat/skin health, advising owners on home care, scheduling and managing appointments, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requires a grooming license and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; compensation is offered on a flexible schedule with commission opportunities, and the role includes ongoing training and benefits such as PTO and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Grooming license for any areas we service (required)
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a professional pet groomer
- Ability to lift to 75lbs and/or heavy dogs temporarily
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet appointment schedules
