Job Summary
Mobile Pet Groomer in the Boston area responsible for performing professional grooming services for dogs and cats in a state-of-the-art mobile van. Duties include bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards, ensuring pet safety and comfort with gentle handling, assessing coat and skin health, advising owners on grooming products and techniques, maintaining van cleanliness and sanitation, and scheduling/optimizing appointment times while delivering high-quality customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Grooming license for any areas serviced
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Grooming certification or graduation from a recognized grooming school (highly desirable)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and handle dogs of all sizes
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage appointments
