Bathe, dry, and groom pets according to breed standards and customer preferences, including trimming fur, styling, and managing nails and ears. Assess pets' health and skin condition, reporting any concerns to owners, while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of tools and work areas. Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and keep detailed records of services and client preferences. Full or part-time hours with up to 50/50 commission based on experience and skills, plus tips.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a pet groomer
- Knowledge of grooming techniques for various breeds and coat types
- Ability to handle animals gently and confidently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Certification from a recognized grooming school
- Ability to pass a background check
