Job Summary
Perform daily equipment inspections, complete shift logs, and maintain fluid levels on SnowCat machinery. Assist the Lead Groomer in grooming ski runs to seamless corduroy using blades and tillers, and build and maintain ski lift loading and unloading ramps. Grade and groom trails, assist with snow-making operations, and complete other grooming tasks as directed by the grooming manager. Requires a valid driver's license, 3-5 years of grooming experience, and physical ability to lift 50lbs in an outdoor all-season environment. Must be comfortable working weekends, holidays, evenings, and overnights. On-site housing and meals are available with a proposed hourly rate of $25.00.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 grooming experience
- Motivated and team oriented
- Able to effectively communicate and follow grooming plans
- Works in a detailed and methodical manner
- A valid driver's license
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and overnights
