Job Summary
Bathe, brush, and dry animals of various breeds, clip nails, trim ears, and assess skin for abnormalities while maintaining a clean work area. Effectively communicate with pet parents regarding grooming styles, skin concerns, and answer their questions. Maintain impeccable records of each animal's grooming history. This commission-based role offers uncapped earning potential and requires a minimum of one year of pet grooming experience, the ability to calmly handle animals of all sizes, and extensive knowledge of breed standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of pet grooming experience
- Ability to calmly handle animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Knowledge of safe and humane handling of animals
- Extensive knowledge of breeds and their grooming requirements
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to change
