Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and trim nails for neighbors while ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons. Learn grooming skills through the online distance program and Paragon School of Pet Grooming, utilizing tools and equipment to meet breed standards. Perform routine cleaning to maintain a fun environment and assist store team members during downtime. Develop long-term relationships by recommending products that keep pets healthy and happy. Successfully complete Safety Training certification and pass a validated selection test. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexible with evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to review videos and take tests online
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must pass a drug screening (in applicable states)
- Must pass a validated selection test
- Must be at least 18 years old

- Experience in retail or other industry working with pets
