Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and trim nails for neighbors while maintaining grooming station cleanliness and safety. Learn bathing and styling techniques through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming distance program, utilizing provided tools and equipment. Assist store team members during downtime and recommend products to build long-term pet owner relationships. Complete safety training and online assessments, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to review videos and take tests online
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and validated selection test and be at least 18 years old
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in retail or other industry working with pets, but not required
