Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and trim nails while ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons. Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services, including brushing, bathing, and nail trimming, while performing routine cleaning to keep the environment fun and inviting. Learn and demonstrate skills necessary to become a groomer through the online distance program and Paragon School of Pet Grooming, utilizing a free tool kit valued over $600. Assist store team members during grooming downtime and successfully complete Safety Training certification. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a drug screening and selection test.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to review videos and take tests online
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and validated selection test
- be at least 18 years old
