Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and trim nails while ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons. Learn grooming skills through distance training and demonstrate techniques to meet breed standards. Maintain a fun, inviting environment with routine cleaning and assist store team members during downtime. Engage neighbors by understanding their needs and recommending products to keep pets healthy and happy. Successfully complete Safety Training certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to review videos and take tests online
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and validated selection test and be at least 18 years old
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in retail or other industry working with pets, but not required
