Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and trim nails while ensuring the wellness and safety of every furry patron. Deliver neighborly service by understanding customer needs, recommending products, and maintaining a fun, clean grooming environment. Complete safety training, review online videos, and pass selection tests. Assist store team members during downtime and attend the Paragon School of grooming program to learn brushing, bathing, and styling skills. Candidates must be at least 18, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Receive a free tool kit worth over $600 upon enrollment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to review videos and take tests online
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and validated selection test
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in retail or other industry working with pets
