Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and trim nails while ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons during daily grooming services. Learn and demonstrate skills to become a groomer through the online distance program and Paragon School of Pet Grooming, utilizing a free tool kit worth over $600. Perform routine cleaning to keep the environment fun and inviting, assist store team members during downtime, and develop relationships with neighbors by recommending products. Successfully complete Safety Training certification and review videos or take tests online. Requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, plus the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to review videos and take tests online
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and validated selection test and be at least 18 years old

- Experience in retail or other industry working with pets, but not required
