Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and trim nails for pets while maintaining a safe, clean grooming environment. Learn to style dogs to breed standards through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming distance program and receive a free tool kit valued over $600. Engage neighbors by recommending products and services that keep pets healthy, and assist store team members during downtime. Complete safety training and review online videos to pass required tests. This role offers flexible evening, weekend, and holiday shifts with a starting pay of $16.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to review videos and take tests online
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and validated selection test and be at least 18 years old
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in retail or other industry working with pets, but not required
