Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and trim nails while ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons. Deliver grooming services that delight neighbors and pets, then assist store team members during downtime. Learn and demonstrate skills for breed standards through the Paragon School of distance program, completing safety training and online assessments. Perform routine cleaning to keep the environment inviting. Candidates must pass drug screening, hold a high school diploma or GED, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible evening, weekend, and holiday shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to review videos and take tests online
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and validated selection test
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in retail or other industry working with pets
