Job Summary
Brush, bathe, and trim nails while ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons. Deliver grooming services that delight neighbors and pets, then assist store team members during downtime. Learn to bathe and style dogs to breed standards through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming online distance program, completing safety training and routine cleaning to keep the environment inviting. Perform tasks requiring the ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds while standing or bending for extended periods. Receive a free tool kit worth over $600 upon enrollment in the training program.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to review videos and take tests online
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and validated selection test and be at least 18 years old

- Experience in retail or other industry working with pets, but not required
