Job Summary
Bathe and style dogs to breed standards using professional grooming tools while encouraging pets to cooperate. Deliver neighborly service through brushing, bathing, and nail trimming, then assist store team members during downtime. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming grooming space while building relationships with pet parents by recommending products and services. Participate in free, paid training through Paragon School or Pet Grooming to grow into a full Groomer role. This evening-only position after 4pm includes weekends and holidays for flexibility, with a starting pay of $15.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Available to work evening shifts only after 4pm including weekends and holidays
- Comfortable with online learning and video-based training
- This role requires frequent bending/twisting, standing and stooping and the ability to lift and carry up to 40-65 lbs
