Job Summary

Direct grocery department operations by supervising staff, managing inventory through ordering and receiving, and handling customer complaints to meet service goals. Assume full store control in the absence of the Store Director and Grocery Manager, including opening/closing duties, cash register management, and shrinkage control. Implement merchandising policies, execute price changes, and manage emergency procedures for equipment or software malfunctions. Operate front-end scanning equipment and hand trucks while maintaining compliance with safety, sanitation, and employment regulations. Work weekends and holidays with little supervision, requiring strong leadership and composure in high-pressure retail environments.
