Required Qualifications

• •0 to 6 months sales training or related experience
• •No High School diploma required
• •Up to 50 pounds lifting requirement
• •At least 18 years of age
• •Ability to uncover potential underage or intoxicated individuals and deny sale of alcohol
• •Knowledge of code dating
• •Awareness of shrink causes and prevention
• •Commitment to learn about food and share food knowledge

• •Prior experience working in retail or related field

• •Ability to make cardboard bales
• •Ability to properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food and safety guidelines
• •Ability to unload produce items from truck and break down pallets
• •Ability to load flats with proper produce items
• •Ability to visually inspect produce for quality and remove unsellable merchandise
• •Ability to answer questions and make suggestions to customers
• •Ability to educate, demonstrate and advise guests on ingredients and qualities of beauty products
• •Ability to provide information and advice on best beauty products
• •Ability to maintain stock level in dairy department
• •Ability to open cases and stock on shelves in appropriate location
• •Ability to prepare products for display in beer, liquor and wine departments
• •Ability to assist customers with purchases by providing knowledgeable recommendations
• •Ability to educate customers on consumption and food pairing
• •Ability to take an active role in building store's wine or beer assortment
• •Ability to meet and exceed weekly sales goals
• •Ability to track sales daily
• •Ability to maintain audit lists, inventory reduction plans and retail strategies
• •Ability to assist in maintaining back room efficiency by unloading deliveries
