Job Summary
Develop a store management team to ensure consistent execution of Standard Practices and policies. Serve as a model for customer service, instilling this value in all associates while maintaining high standards for product quality and presentation. Manage the operation of the assigned store, including supervision of Assistant Store Managers, Department leaders, and staff. Review financial and operating results to determine performance relative to budgeted sales, expenses, and payroll. Directly supervise all associates, identify root causes of issues, and develop resolution plans. Assess staffing needs, interview candidates, and place purchase orders for Tobacco, Alcohol, and HBA while maintaining weekly inventory. Monitor shrink, ensure money is accounted for, and implement security controls. Visit competitors to stay abreast of product and price offerings.
