Job Summary
Stock, rotate, and condition grocery products on shelves while maintaining neat, safe work areas and sanitation standards. Provide polite interactions with guests and co-workers, assist with unloading and verifying merchandise deliveries, and perform front-end duties to ensure no noticeable wait times. Communicate temperature problems to supervisors for dairy and frozen food sections. Order product for aisles as assigned by management, maintain organized backstock inventory, and minimize damage through proper handling and rotation. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. constantly 60 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to read and understand information and direction
- Knowledge of grocery operations
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Effective communication and guest service skills
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts and operate pallet jack for extended periods of time
