Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service, suggest product sales, and perform quality assurance checks on department inventory. Rotate and merchandise products while controlling shrink, ensuring stock levels, cleanliness, and adherence to safety policies on the selling floor and backroom. Promote established programs and support company initiatives. This role requires standing and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, with occasional overhead lifting. Forklift training may be required. No prior experience or education is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates
- Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
- Forklift/Power Industrial Truck Training
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to adjust focus
