Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring grocery department shelves and displays are stocked, neat, and organized. Key responsibilities include unloading, stocking, and organizing grocery items, transporting stock to the sales floor, maintaining inventory levels, assisting in building displays, and greeting customers. Must lift up to 70 pounds, maintain a neat appearance, and follow company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time
- Must have the ability to retrieve and place merchandise on the top racks in the grocery aisles for proper storage
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to stand upright for most of your scheduled work shift
