Job Summary
As a Grocery Stock Clerk, you will assist in unloading merchandise, transport stock, open cartons, and ensure store shelves are fully stocked. Responsibilities include maintaining perishable goods, controlling damaged inventory, and presenting assigned sections properly. The role requires the ability to lift heavy items, follow instructions, and maintain a neat appearance while adhering to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product.
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time.
- Must have the ability to retrieve and place merchandise on the top racks in the grocery aisles for proper storage.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
