Job Summary
Direct the work of grocery stockers and ensure sub-departments are well stocked, staffed, and maintained. Collaborate with Grocery Management to communicate policy, track employee performance, train, and assign tasks. Provide support to customers and staff, ensure compliance with City Market procedures regarding operations, sales, safety, and security, and may perform other related duties as assigned. Strong emphasis on supervisory skills, inventory management, customer service, training, and adherence to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- One year of retail or supervisory experience OR 18 months of customer service experience required
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful
