Job Summary
Planogram Merchandiser needed to execute weekly plan-o-gram resets in a Kroger-affiliated retail environment. Responsibilities include collecting plan-o-grams and new item tags, preparing work areas to complete section resets, breaking down sections for customer shopping flow, repositioning shelving according to updated schematics, cleaning the work area, completing forms and reporting completion to Kroger and supervisors, and maintaining professionalism with customers and store management. Requires ability to read plan-o-grams, stand for long periods, lift up to 70 lbs, operate a smartphone app as part of duties, and work with minimal supervision. Prior retail experience and strong teamwork, adaptability, and safety awareness are valued. The role may involve periods of reduced scheduling and additional store support as needed. Since 1989, P.L. Marketing supports Kroger merchandising operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read and understand plan-o-grams
- Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in the English language
- A smartphone with internet/data access is required
- This may include, but is not limited to, requiring app permissions such as enabling location services, camera, and photo gallery access
- Must be able to provide personal tape measure and safety gloves to perform essential job functions
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Retail store experience (desirable)
