Grocery/Refrigeration Assistant Manager

Oversee daily grocery and refrigeration operations by managing workflows, tracking inventory, and ensuring shift coverage. Coordinate staff training, manage schedules, and coach team members while modeling positive leadership. Deliver customer excellence by greeting shoppers, handling inquiries, and engaging on the sales floor. Track daily sales and labor metrics to relay insights to relevant teams. Ensure department standards through facility checks, maintenance reporting, and adherence to safety protocols. Create in-store displays and execute product placement strategies to meet sales objectives. Step into staff roles as needed for opening, closing, or break coverage. Requires prior grocery or refrigeration experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. and operating pallet jacks. Flexible availability across shifts, evenings, and weekends required.
