Job Summary
Stock shelves and displays throughout the department, ensuring all product is fresh, rotated, and well-stocked. Order, receive, and unload deliveries, then store, price, date, and rotate items using first-in-first-out practices. Clean behind the store, dispose of trash, and maintain proper sanitation while monitoring cooler temperatures to prevent refrigeration failures. Notify the night crew chief or manager of potential shrink, security, or product availability issues immediately. Prepare the grocery department for the next day's business by blocking, straightening, and cleaning displays. Maximize productivity by achieving a minimum standard of 235 cases per 8-hour overnight shift. Work inside or outside in cold temperatures, operating equipment such as pallet jacks and pricing guns.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Complete training in the grocery operation
- Capable of following verbal directions
- Ability to read and write English adequately
- Ability to speak, understand and follow English instructions
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
