Pick various items using order sheets or an audio headset, stack products on pallets for wrapping and loading at bay doors, and ensure order accuracy while adhering to safety standards. Operate a double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to remove cases from storage racks, apply selection labels, and perform equipment inspections. Inform supervisors of case quantity or description differences and complete appropriate forms. Continually stand, bend, pull, and lift varying case weights ranging from 1 to 60 lbs, walking 6-12 miles daily across multiple levels. This physically active role supports C&S Wholesale Grocers' mission to feed local communities by preparing orders for delivery to independent supermarkets and chain stores.
