Job Summary
Manage sales and operations for multiple departments including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine by ensuring proper product handling, rotation, and date controls. Control costs through labor management and loss reduction while overseeing truck unloading, delivery verification, ordering, and compliance. Lead team development via coaching, performance reviews, and recruitment decisions, and independently address team concerns with corrective actions. Create and adjust staffing schedules to maximize productivity and communicate standards, policies, and product knowledge to staff. Serve as a Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed. Maintain Food Safety certification and adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations regarding safety and sanitation. Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- 1 year managerial or supervisory experience

- Must vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 50 lbs., from 5" to 34", for a distance up to 5 feet for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance
- Repetitive squatting/kneeling/bending to access a point 5 inches from the floor for up to 30 hours
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have and maintain Food Safety certification
- ability to ensure that all federal, state, and company regulations and standards for product freshness, food safety, weights and measures, store safety, employee safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met
