Job Summary
Direct store operations by closing the store four to five nights per week and assuming full leadership duties when the Store Director or Assistant Store Director are absent. Manage the grocery, frozen, and dairy departments through responsible ordering, daily maintenance of shelving and backrooms, and directing the stock crew. Lead and develop employees by scheduling shifts, training staff, and resolving conflicts to maintain a disciplined work environment. Ensure compliance with all government regulations, company policies, and dress codes while maintaining accurate records. Requires the ability to lift 60 lb. boxes, use sharp instruments, and work on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10/20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to stand.
- Ability to reach.
- Ability to push.
- Ability to pull.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
