Job Summary
Direct daily store operations by closing the store four to five nights per week, managing grocery, frozen, and dairy ordering, and maintaining clean shelving and backroom conditions. Lead the stock crew and receiver while training and developing employees to ensure a qualified workforce. Schedule department staff, resolve conflicts using critical thinking, and maintain ethical relationships with vendors and suppliers. Assume full store leadership responsibilities when the store director or assistant store director is absent. Maintain compliance with all government regulations, company policies, and dress code standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10/20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
