Job Summary
Direct store operations by closing four to five nights per week and assuming Store Director responsibilities during their absence. Oversee grocery, frozen, and dairy ordering while maintaining daily backroom and department maintenance. Train and develop staff, manage scheduling for the grocery department, and lead the stock crew. Ensure compliance with all company policies, government regulations, and vendor relationships through clear communication and conflict resolution. Maintain records, enforce dress and name tag standards, and uphold a disciplined work environment. Requires ability to lift 60 lb. boxes and work on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10/20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
