Job Summary
Grocery Manager responsible for achieving department sales and profits through leadership of department personnel, maintaining product levels and quality control, and ensuring compliance with Brookshire Grocery Company standards and food safety practices. Oversees hiring, training, performance management, scheduling, inventory and loss prevention, and promotes customer service and sales through effective merchandising and suggestive selling. Must manage in a retail store environment, ensure stock accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance, and lead a team to deliver strong financial results.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED required
- two or more years of related experience
- Food Handler certification required
- Manager Food Safety certification required
- AML certification required
- Fuel Operator C training required
- HIPAA certification required
- TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable
