Job Summary
Manage the department's daily operations, including planning, ordering, and employee supervision, while ensuring product freshness, shelf organization, and strict adherence to safety standards. Coordinate with store leadership to design promotion plans, meet sales targets, and control inventory movement through FIFO practices and physical counts. Receive poultry shipments, examine quantities and quality, and utilize computer programs for label updates and price signage. Provide employee schedules, handle attendance, and lead coaching, training, and performance reviews. Complete 6 to 8 months of structured training and rotations across stores, HQ, CPUs, and DCs before direct assignment. Work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts with a requirement to relocate and travel for training.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in related fields
- Work in an environment with varying temperature and use equipment
- Require lifting 25+ lbs objects and long periods of standing
- Must be able to work at a flexible schedule (night, weekends & holidays) and relocate if necessary
- Must be able to travel between different stores for training purposes
- Capable of reading, analyzing, interpreting technical procedures and training materials
- Able to speak, write, present, commute, and respond to information and questions
- Great interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
- Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, mass and volume
- Commit to company values and customer services
- Authorized to work in the United States
- At least 18 years old
- Weekend & Holiday required
- 6 days a week
- Overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with inventory management programs, Microsoft Office, IT retail, or SAP are highly preferred
- Bilingual English, Chinese, and Spanish is highly preferred
